About our reserch grup
Tadayuki Tsujita (T2)-group, in the Biochemistry laboratory is tring to understanding molecular mechanisms of the environmental stress sensor and transcriptional factor NRF1, NRF2 and others. To understanding physiological function of thouse mechamisms, we are utilising culture cell and genetical modified fish and mouse. Recentry, we are establishing new, sensitive screening system to find out chemical or natural compound to modulate those stress recognition system. This approach might be useful for develop the functional foods and medicine seeds.
We are enjoed to conduct dayly scientific activity and discussion. If you interested in our reserch group pleaase come and see us anytime!

- 2025-08-14: The research of Ms. Kanade Shiga who graduated in 2021, when she studied in the laboratory of Prof. Alvena Dinkova-Kostova at the University of Dundee has been published in Scientific Report!
- 2025-06-13.14: Ms Hanae Takami (M2) gave a poster presentation at the 2025 meeting of the Kyushu Branch of the Biochemical Society of Japan.
- 2025-04-21: A paper showing that ectopic expression of SMOX is increased in NRF1-deficient mice, resulting in acrolein accumulation has been published from Scientific Report！
- 2025-04-16-21: Goki Yamada attened the Redox Week 2025 in Sendai. And he has done oral presentation in English. Well done!
- 2025-04-03: We have started FY2025. Chamodi just joined to our lab as a Master Course student. We will working hard from now on!
- 2025-03-25: We have had the combocation celemoney! Hirakawa (D3), Kita and Yoshitake (M2) will move to new working place. We are very sad they are left. At the same time, Okazaki, Suetsugu and Nakahara will be join to our Graduate schoold or Advanced health science. Many congraturations!
